Report a problem

Include your Chrome version, the extension version shown in Chrome’s Extensions page, the supported site’s hostname, and the steps that led to the issue. For a study question, include its wording and explain what needs review.

Please omit passwords, personal messages, private browsing purposes, and unrelated browsing records. If you attach a screenshot, hide personal information first.

The gate does not appear

Check that Chambers Gatekeeper is enabled and allowed to run on the supported site in Chrome’s extension settings. Refresh the site after an extension update. YouTube Music is intentionally excluded.

A question looks familiar

Version 2.1.0 uses a persistent 207-question rotation shared across supported sites. Questions repeat after the bank has been exhausted. Removing the extension or clearing its extension storage resets that rotation. Check that the installed version is 2.1.0 or later.

I need more correct answers this time

A first visit starts with two consecutive correct answers. Repeat visits to the same hostname within an hour can increase the requirement to five. An incorrect answer resets the consecutive-answer count.

View or remove local records

Open Chambers Gatekeeper’s extension options in Chrome to view the Scroll Ledger. Removing the extension removes extension-owned local records. Separate pass and unlock records can remain in each supported website’s storage; clear that site’s data in Chrome to remove them. Clearing site data can also sign you out.
